Press Conferences

In the past couple of weeks, the Utah Jazz have held a press conference to introduce their newest acquisitions. Many may not have even heard the press conference or even know there was one going on cause there was no party with fireworks or the players being raised onto a stage.

Instead there was a back drop with the Jazz music note logo, the new player being introduced and the key members that run the Jazz organization. Nothing fancy, yet very personal. Both Al Jefferson and Raja Bell sat there in front of reporters and answered questions. Then with a swift stroke of the pen signing the contract and pictures taken with their new Jazz hat, they were off to do one on one interviews. After that, their day was done, off to work.

It is little things like these press conferences that should make Jazz fans proud. Even without all the pyrotechnics, the Jazz showed their professionalism in moving forward. There was nothing flashy about the introductions but they were classy introductions.
